The Bleary man was the key performer again in Broomhedge, much to his boss’ delight.

“Man of the Match today for me was Gregg Harrison who bagged a hat-trick but who also set up three others in an excellent display,” he said.

“It’s another good win and we were without two important players in Darragh Peden and Stevie Coulter so again the squad has proven important.

“It was an absolutely awesome display by the players. Our passing was excellent and in 90 minutes, (goalkeeper) Steven White did not kick the ball long once.

“Everything went to feet and we played from there. At 2-0, we dropped the pace a bit and they had a good spell but in the second half we totally dominated.

“Given where Broomhedge are in the league and our recent run of form, we would expect three points but it was the manner of the performance that really pleased me.

“Jonny Gibson had an influential game at centre back with Ryan Shilliday beside him dominant. Mark Ervine and Gareth Rees scored a good brace each and Johnny Kernaghan was as usual lively.”

Next up for Moneyslane is a home game against fifth placed Richill. Their opponents are coming off the back of a 3-1 defeat to Markethill Swifts but that was their first defeat in nine league matches.
