New committee at Portstewart FC

A NEW fundraising committee has been formed by players at Portstewart Football Club.

Their first event took place on Saturday night, and took the form of a games night, and it proved to be very successful.

With a number of new signings this season, the committee hopes to raise the profile of the Championship Two club.

Anyone who would like to sponsor the club or a player should contact any of the committee - Adam Campbell. Lee Rushe, Andrew White, James Peden or Niall Quinn, alternatively visit the club website.

PRE SEASON: Portstewart will play Ahoghill Thistle this Saturday, July 20 in their first pre-season friendly.

Other games include Saturday, July 27 v Distillery, Saturday, August 3 v Banbridge Rangers and Monday, August 5 v Coleraine 7.30 pm.
