“The players need to take a long, hard look in the mirror” says boss

Moneyslane manager David Johnstone was scathing in his assessment of his side’s display during Saturday’s defeat to Lurgan Town.

“I can only apologise to the club and fans for today’s performance and result,” said Johnstone.

“It was nowhere near good enough. It is really frustrating that we can beat Valley Rangers away and Hanover twice at home yet in the last two weeks fail to beat two bottom of the table teams.

“The players collectively need to have a long hard look in the mirror as too many of them are not delivering on a consistent basis.”
