Tobermore United

ONCE again Tobermore United were left with no game last Saturday, this time due to Dergview having to replay a postponed cup match, but despite a number of other teams being in the same situation league rules dictated that no fixtures could be arranged.

It wasn’t perfect preparation for this Saturday’s big JJB Irish Cup game against runaway league leaders Ballinamallard but the United’s boss Johnny Law was upbeat about the situation stating ,”the down side is that we will probably have a midweek trip to Castlederg at the end of the season but the upside is that the rest last Saturday may help a few of the lads carrying knocks to be ready for the Mallards”.

The game kicks off at 1.30 at Fortwilliam Park and will be played to a finish and with the Premiership clubs coming into the competition in the next round there is plenty to play for.
