This is the race everyone dreams of and from start to finish the race was exhilarating, Laverty, Lowry and Neill dicing up front. Lowry took first place but only for a short time as Laverty put the power on and won the race by 2.5 seconds over Lowry and M Neill respectively.

Paul Robinson was leading the 125 Championship going into Saturday’s races but an injured hand Paul was suffering from resulted in Percy taking the Championship, with Paul second.

Michael and William Dunlop rode exceptionally well in both the Superbike races and Sunflower race as the local and popular brothers were outpaced by Grand Prix machines.

Ryan Farquahar had a dobule on the lower speed machines of the Supertwins and did not compete in the Superbike or Superflower Trophy.
