Lisburn golfers back in business in Winter League

The heavy rain towards the end of last week was not sufficient to close the Lisburn course.

John Boyd presents a cheque for £9,605 to Claire Hogarth from Friends of the Cancer Centre watched by Stephen Hamill and Jane McCambley.

The golfers were delighted to get back after missing several Saturdays even if play was restricted to temporary greens.

The Winter League was played over the front nine holes with over one hundred taking part. The shortened course resulted in some very high Stableford points.
