Seconds dominate over Mossley side

GARVEY Seconds dominated for 70 minutes against an experienced Mossley side at Comber Road.

On this occasion Mossley were no match for an exuberant Garvey team on the up from a great three points away to Kilkeel last week.

Garvey moved the ball extremely well and were able to find Jack Wilson in acres of space on several occasions.

Man of the match Wilson opened the scoring with a lightning strike from the top of the circle, leaving the keeper with no chance.

The second goal soon followed. Rob Cummins found Paul Fleming overlapping on the right, beat two defenders and slid the ball to John Gray for his first goal of the season.

Garvey secured their third goal just before half time with Glen Whitten rounding the keeper and slotting home. Garvey began the second half brightly with Wilson, Cummins (2) and Bittle all finding the net.

Garvey will need to maintain this good form away to Instonians next Saturday
