Coronas return to Belfast for Mandela Hall gig

IRELAND has been home to some of the most influential artists and Dublin band The Coronas are no exception. This, platinum-selling band has established themselves as the current biggest-selling independent group in Ireland.

The lads are renowned for their high-energy live shows, which have made them one of the country’s most popular attractions. They have Sold-out Belfast’s Empire Music Hall on three occasions and Dublin’s Olympia Theatre for six consecutive nights.

After the bands London date at The Borderline sold out within hours the band are excited to release the dates to their UK tour.

The band has shared the stage with some of music’s most influential acts such as Paul McCartney, Pink and ongoing supporters The Script. With an ever-growing fan base the band have sold out Dublin’s Olympia 6 nights running, and held their own at prestigious European festivals such as Benicassim and Hard Rock Calling.

With a string of awards under their belt, The Coronas platinum-selling 2009 album Tony Was An Ex-Con shot straight to #1 in the Irish Indie and iTunes charts and won the guys a prestigious Meteor Award for album of the year beating the likes of U2, The Script and Snow Patrol.
