The P&O Ferries Express is the fastest ship on the most direct route for those passengers who wish to travel between Northern Ireland and Central Scotland with Glasgow just 35 minutes from Troon.

P&O Ferries’ Head of Sales and Marketing Irish Sea, Sarah Rosier, commented: “Passengers can relax even before they step on board our ferries knowing that there are no baggage restrictions to worry about and no need to compromise on packing the home comforts we all appreciate when we’re travelling.

“Once on board, the Express provides passengers with a relaxing and comfortable start to their journey. There are no airport-style queues to struggle through and there’s a lot to enjoy–it’s all so hassle-free.

“Our Food Hall serves a delicious selection of hot, cold and healthy food options as well as kid’s meals and there’s a Starbucks coffee shop for lighter refreshments.

“Passengers can upgrade to our Club Lounge which offers a haven of peace and quiet. Complimentary daily newspapers, magazines and refreshments are available along with the exclusive Club Lounge menu which offers delicious light meals. There are also sockets available for anyone who wants to catch up on work and use their laptops, tablets and mobile phones.

“The Express also has attractive family features including a kids entertainment room for added fun and at peak travelling times there will be entertainers on board to ensure even the smallest of sailors enjoy their trip.”

With up to four sailings a day, prices on the Express start from £114 each way to Troon for a car plus driver. Club Lounge costs from £12 per person if booked in advance and 14 per person if booked on board.
