BBC’s Your Place and Mine comes from Cushendall

Anne Marie McAleese brings her BBC Radio Ulster programme, Your Place And Mine to Cushendall to celebrate the arrival of Giro d’Italia on BBC Radio Ulster, tomorrow (Saturday, May 10) at 8.05am. bbc.co.uk/radioulster

Anne Marie McAleese takes her Your Place And Mine morning programme to Cushendall tomorrow for a live broadcast as the town gears up for the arrival of the Giro d’Italia riders.

Starting at 8.05am, the show will come live from the Curfew Tower in the heart of Cushendall where Anne Marie will be chatting to local people to uncover some interesting tales from the Glens and hopes to find out about tandems on the Causeway Coast and the pink horses of Armoy.

Anne Marie says: “It is a great opportunity to go to Cushendall and to get inside the tower and if all goes well they will hopefully let us out at nine o’clock.”
