Clueso for kids at Springhill House

Children can follow detective ‘Shirley Holmes’ around the estate and gardens in search of the clues to find out who dunnit.

Less than 10 minutes from Cookstown, Springhill offers a fantastic day out for all the family.

Take a tour of the charming 17th-century Springhill House, visit the Titanic exhibition and stunning Edwardian costume display. Children will love the interactive room and the chance to play with Edwardian toys, dress up in traditional clothing and write on slates with chalk.

Discover the new natural play area, explore the many walks around the property and visit the servants’ hall for a tea and scone to end a memorable afternoon.

Why not visit Wellbrook Beetling Mill to complete your great day out? Nestling in an idyllic wooded glen and offering lots of walks and picnic spots, Wellbrook is just a 10 minute drive from Springhill. Take a take a tour of the mill and see hands on demonstrations set against the thunder of the beetling engines.

Clueso for Kids takes place at Springhill from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday. Tours run every hour, starting at 1pm. It’s suitable for ages five to 11. For further information call 028 8674 8210. Normal admission applies and members are admitted free.
