Co Tyrone motorist spotted swerving in the middle of road loses licence
A Co Tyrone motorist spotted by police swerving in the middle of the road, has lost his licence for 16 months.
Dungannon Magistrates Court heard that on Friday at 2.10am on August 16, police were on mobile patrol at Moy Road, Dungannon, when they observed a vehicle driving in the middle of the road.
Lawson Marondera, aged 35, of Donaghmore Road, Dungannon, was also fined £250 with a £15 offender's levy for driving while having consumed excess alcohol in breath.
Prosecuting counsel said police observed the vehicle swerving in the middle of the road and followed it to CoolHill Mews, where they stopped it and spoke to the driver.

She said officers could smell intoxicating liquor and Marondera admitted he had been drinking in Belfast.
He provided a breath specimen which showed an alcohol reading of 86 mcgs per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs.
Marondera, who was not professionally represented, told the court he was “very sorry.”
