Sinn Fein Cllr Paul Duffy said his thoughts are with the staff at the jewellery store who he said must have had a ‘very traumatic experience’.

He urged anyone with information to contact the PSNI.

The PSNI added: “Detectives would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the two males leave the jewellers or at any time after the robbery, or anyone who recorded mobile phone or dash-cam footage. Please call 101, quoting reference 1073 08/08/20.

“You can also submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
