A motorcyclist is in a critical condition in hospital following a road traffic collision in Larne.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the crash in the Circular Road area involving a motorbike and a van on Sunday, June 23.

It was reported to police at around 12pm and officers, along with Northern Ireland Ambulance Service colleagues, attended the scene

A PSNI spokesperson confirmed: “The motorcyclist was subsequently taken on to hospital and remains in a critical condition.

"Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone with information, including dashcam or other footage, to contact police on the 101 number, quoting reference 595 of 21/06/26.”

The Circular Road Roundabout, which was closed for a time, has since reopened.
