NICOLA to follow Larne over-50s

A total of 245 participants from Larne Area are to be selected for the ground-breaking NICOLA project.

The initiative launched in the past week is the largest public health research project to be undertaken in Northern Ireland.

Stormont Junior Ministers Jonathan Bell and Jennifer McCann launched the Queen’s University-led project, which will look to follow the lives of 8,500 over-50s from all over the province and leave a lasting legacy for society by providing a basis for future Government policy.
