Pedal power raises £1,700 for MS Society
Kings Moss Cycle Club has handed over a cheque for more than £1,700 to the MS Society NI.
Several club members took part in the ‘On Your Bike to Beat MS’ event - a 100-mile cycle from Newcastle to Enniskillen - in June this year.
John Reid, Davy Robinson, Ivan Cooke and David Montgomery raised a grand total £1,748 for the work of the MS Society NI.
The local cyclists got involved in the fundraiser as they have close family connections to people living with MS.
Samantha Creighton accepted the cheque on behalf of the MS Society.
