SDLP MLA Justin ​McNulty attends Alzheimer's Europe Conference

The conference attracted 1,400 delegates from 44 different countries and was themed on building momentum from policy, partnership, and research.

Mr McNulty stated: “It was an honour to be in attendance at the Alzheimer's Europe Conference on Tuesday, which was also attended by Taoiseach Micheál Martin TD. The conference was an important demonstration of the national and international progress being made in dementia care, research, and advocacy. The event gave people from all backgrounds the ability to connect and discuss both research and lived experiences, with a diverse mix of attendees including people living with dementia and their families, carers and supporters, as well as volunteers and staff of Alzheimer associations, policy makers, health and social care professionals, researchers, academics and industry representatives from all over Europe and beyond."
