Small actions, lasting impact: NI Hospice invites Magherafelt community to get involved in making a difference
People in Mid Ulster area are invited to hear first-hand about the care and support provided by Northern Ireland Hospice at a free community roadshow in Magherafelt on Wednesday, November 4, from 7pm to 9pm, at Meadowbank Sports Arena on Ballyronan Road.
The evening, which is open to everyone in the community, will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the specialist palliative care provided by Northern Ireland Hospice, including Children’s Hospice and Hospice at Home services.

The event will feature insights from the Hospice team and local families, who will share their experiences of care and support. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions, enjoy a cuppa and discover how they can make a difference by fundraising, volunteering or spreading the word about the work of the Hospice.
Event host David Dixon, NI Hospice Community Fundraiser, said: “This Christmas, Northern Ireland Hospice aims to raise £500,000 through all its fundraising activities to help ensure babies, children and adults living with life-limiting illnesses across Northern Ireland can continue to receive expert compassionate care when they need it most.
“The roadshow is a chance for the Magherafelt community to come together, learn more about NI Hospice care and discover how their support can make a difference to local families. Everyone is welcome and myself and the NI Hospice team look forward to sharing a wonderful evening with the local community in Magherafelt.”
