Larne roadworks in the coming weeks
Road users may wish to plan their journeys in advance with roadworks programmes taking place in the Larne area this week.
Closures will operate daily unless otherwise stated.
Circular Road, Larne
There will be a lane closure from Drummond Court to the Harbour Highway bridge on Sunday, September 13.
The closure is required to replace or relevel SV AV FH Box.
Traffic controls will operate, with delays of between 5-15 minutes expected.
Antiville Road, Larne
There will be a continuous road closure from the Antiville Road roundabout to Donaghys Lane until Monday, September 14.
The closure is required to clear water ducting install.
A diversion will operate with an alternative route via A0008 Ballymena Road, U4089 Pound Street, U4105 Pound Street, U4105 Victoria Road, U4106 Victoria Road, C0072 Old Glenarm Road, U4089 Greenland Road, U4089 The Roddens, and U4100 Antiville Road.
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Waterfall Road, Glenoe
There will be a continuous road closure from Waterfall Road to 20m from the Ballynure side of New Line junction until Friday, September 11.
The closure is required for resurfacing for DFI Roads.
A diversion will operate with an alternative route via A0008 Belfast Road, A0008 Larne Road, A0008 Ballynure Road, B0059 Doagh Road, B0090 Old Carrick Road, B0090 Upper Road, and B0090 Middle Road.
Delays of over 15 minutes are expected.
Riverdale, Larne
There will be a continuous road closure from Riverdale East Car park to Coopers Lane until Friday, June 4 2027 at 5:00pm.
The closure is required for demolition of a tower block.
A diversion will operate with an alternative route via U4085 Riverdale, U4085 High Street, and U4105 Pound Street.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
