Annual Festival of Pool gets underway

The popular event will see two weeks of intense green baize action at the Michelin Athletic Club premises.

The festival opened at the weekend with the individual championship and more great action is lined up this week in a number of different formats.

Important dates for teams and individual players during the remainder of the Festival are:

Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th Feb – Cup & Shield - Registration 7.30pm.

Friday 20th Feb Captains/Seniors/Ladies Individuals - Entry £5 Registration 7.30pm.

Sunday 22nd Feb Scottish Doubles - Entry £5 Registration 12.30pm.

Tuesday 24th Feb 3-a-sides - Entry £5 Registration 7.30pm

Friday 27th Feb Charity & Memorial Cup - Entry £5 Registration 7.30pm

Sunday 1st March –Doubles - Entry £5 Registration 7.30pm.

Once the Festival concludes, the Ballymena Towers Pool League will resume for what is anticipated to be a thrilling finale to the season, with a number of teams battling it out to secure the coveted league championship.
