Boat Club regatta
East Antrim Boat Club hosted its Hallowe’en regatta recently as a large number of local sailors took to the waters of Larne Lough under the race management of Richard Doig.
Three back-to-back races were held in windy conditions, giving an exciting day’s racing for the fleet of Laser dinghies and Flying Fifteens keel boats.
The winner of the Laser 4.7 class went to Jocelyn Hill with with fellow Islandmagee girl, Katie Kane, taking second. The Radial Class was won by Gavin Doig. Second place was taken by Debbie Hannah, and third place went to Garry Fekkes. The overall winner of the Laser Class was Stephen Penny.

Hide AdIn a strong Flying Fifteen Class, first place went to visitors Bryan Willis and John McPeake, while second spot went to Ben Ferris and Sheila Lewis of County Antrim Yacht Club. The Liddle brothers, Stephen and Billy, of the home club took third.
