Duffy leaves Everton
Defender Shane Duffy is expected to join Championship side Blackburn Rovers from Everton.
The big centre-back has believed to have signed for Gary Bowyer’s side in a deal worth £1.5 million.
Duffy spent last season on loan with Yeovil Town and returned to Finch Farm in May hoping to force his way into Roberto Martinez’s first-team plans but will return to the Championship instead.
The 22-year-old made a handful of appearances for The Toffeemen under David Moyes, including as a youngster in the Europa League, but had yet to figure in a competitive fixture under Martinez.
