Soccer Fun Week on its way to Nortel

Tommy Jackson’s Soccer Fun Week is set to take place at Nortel Athletic and Social Club from July 7 to July 11.

Jackson is a much-capped former Northern Ireland star who played for Manchester United and Everton. He also played under the legendary Brian Clough at Nottingham Forest. Locally he starred for Glentoran and Crusaders. He later went on to be manager at The Oval.

The fun week provides opportunities for boys and girls aged between 7 and 15. At the end of the week the all participants will receive a free Fun Week T-shirt, a soccer ball and there will be a free Cola drink each day.

There will be special Fun Week prizes for the winners of the Skills and Penalty Kick competitons as well as the Most Improved Player, Most Helpful Player and Five-a-Side winners. Each participant will also receive a commemorative medal.

This programme offers children a unique opportunity to develop their soccer skills.
