On paper, Ibrox had the hardest match - away to Feathers and Stephen Peoples’ men proved that with the match balanced at 5-5 at one stage. However, Ibrox hit back in the third session with four frames on the trot to get the all-important two points, despite a Jeff Heggan hat-trick.

The Thatch beat No. 1 Blues 11-4, inspired by a hat-trick from the in-form Ryan McKillop.

No. 1 Club laboured to a 10-5 win over Q Club, Ellis Martin bagging a treble. The Saints got back to winning ways in the St Comgall’s derby match with a 13-2 win. Dean McDonagh, Shaun McAlister and Gary Johnston took three out of three.

Station Bar got their first win of the season at home to BSQ Rangers, with Ciaran O’Toole pocketing a hat-trick.

Another hat-trick, this time from Mark Wilson, inspired Gers to an 11-4 win over Ruby’s at the Rangers Club.

Last, but not least, was the match at the No. 1 Club between the Reds and Thatch Rockets. The Reds were cruising most of the encounter but a late surge forced a play-off frame and the Rockets were denied a point by Glenn McLaughlin who bagged an impressive four from four.
