Wilsy’s offers superb food at tasty prices

SINCE opening its doors earlier this year Wilsy’s Takeaway has netted a reputation as the ‘plaice’ to stop off for a scrumptious meal.

Based at Milltown Service Station in Ballymoney the pristine eaterie boasts an extensive mouth-watering menu of dishes at unbeatable value.

The diverse range on offer caters for all tastes with meals to whet the appetite of the whole family.

And in tough financial times the knockdown prices enable locals to tuck into whatever their heart desires without their wallets taking a pounding.

Specials are available all day, every day with prices starting from as little as £2.50.

These include four chicken fillet bites with chips, sausage and chips, four of the unique Wilsy’s Bang Bang Bites or two of Wilsy’s goujons with chips. All come with a choice of dips, sauces and sides.

Other meal deals start at £4.50 and include a 500ml drink of your choice.

You can also choose a Wilsy’s Pick ‘n’ Mix, adding two from five options to chips and onion rings.

For those really wanting to indulge why not tackle a Wilsy’s Spicy Hunger Buster Fillet Burger?

The towering burger is made up of a spicy chicken fillet, onion ring, bacon, grated cheese, chilli mayo sauce and choice of salad and costs just £3.95.

A new healthy range has just been put on the menu too which includes a salad bap, salad box, chicken wrap or baked potato. A host of fillings can be selected with the healthy menu - which uses only the freshest produce - starting from as little as £1.35.

You can put a smile on the faces of your little ones too with all kids meals accompanied with a free toy.

And mum or dad can have the night off thanks to a selection of family feasts on offer from just £15.95.

Food is prepared on Wilsy’s premises with the bulk of products sourced from the local area.

Owner Wilson Torrens said since the takeaway opened in February the response has been excellent.

“Things are going very well and the menu has proved very popular,” he said.

“We take a lot of pride in our food and I think that comes across to the customer.

“The prices are also very reasonable so overall the feedback has been very positive.

“Myself and my wife Rhonda are very grateful for all the support we have received to date and we look forward to what is set to be a very bright future in Ballymoney.”

A delivery service will be in operation shortly from 5pm to close.

For orders over £25, delivery will be FREE within the town centre limits and half price outside the town centre limits.

For those calling into the takeaway there is an abundance of free car parking facilities at the front of Wilsy’s.
