Monthly Medal for David at Royal

A birdie on the ninth gave him 19 out and further birdies at 13 and 17 saw David come back with 22 points.

In the Silver Section, Sid Henry (3) took the plaudits. A string of birdies coupled with a shorter string of bogeys gave him 39 points to ease out Pat Mullan.

In the Bronze Section David Sloan also scored 39 with a couple of birdies at nine and fourteen.

John Stevenson Jnr had four birdies in his round and, even with an unfortunate double bogey at 12 won the best gross with his return of 72.
