Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members armed themselves with litter pickers and bags for their walk along the Cullybackey River Path.

Senior Section leader Miriam McIlvenna said: “The younger members enjoyed this especially, taking their time to ensure they didn’t miss a bit. Bin bags upon bin bags of rubbish were collected, and the girls have made their local pathway clean again.”

She added: “Girl Guiding continues in Ahoghill, with the units relocating to the St. Colmanell’s Church of Ireland Church Hall in September. Guiding in Cullybackey continues to be popular with units almost at capacity,” said Miriam who pointed out that new girl guide members and also adult volunteers were always welcome.
